BJA is the National Governing Body for the Olympic Sport of Judo in Great Britain. The BJA is a membership organisation and has expanded its network of clubs, qualified coaches and individual members throughout Britain providing access to the sport in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
The largest provider of Krav Maga training throughout the world, with representation in over 60 countries and headquarters based in Israel. KMG teaches authentic Krav Maga developed by the late arts founder, Imi Sde-Or Lichtenfeld and continues to evolve the sport, offering students at local clubs the opportunity to learn this traditional Israeli Martial Art.
This Governing Body oversees all aspects of Ju-Jitsu in Great Britain such as, establishing codes of conduct, standard practises, competition formats and rules, arranging group insurance policies for clubs within the Association, and certification of teachers and competition referees as well as registration of new clubs.
The only organisation in the UK to have both ex-military and civilian instructors teaching military themed martial arts. Founded in 2001 by Lee Matthews, who wanted to use his years of military and martial arts experience to teach others. BMMA now have over 100 locations around the country.
